INDA's IDEA 2022 held March 28-31 was the world's largest gathering of leaders and stakeholders in the engineered fabrics and nonwovens industry. This is a pivotal time in the industry when companies are fiercely driven in introducing creative innovations while balancing sustainability, and at the same time leading the change for the absorbent hygiene and personal care industry during the pandemic.
Professionals and leaders in the nonwovens and engineered fabrics from around the world converged in Miami, FL at IDEA 2022.
For the partners of The Yago Company who are still diving deep into the industry, IDEA 2022 provided a great opportunity to view the industry on a large scale, and at the same time network and cultivate potential partnerships in the absorbent hygiene and personal care market.
It's the second Hygienix™ appearance in three years for The Yago Company. This time, it was attended by managing partners Jee Jayme and Cora Newcomb, with the addition of Imelda Karlson. What a treat to meet and network with industry leaders and professionals in beautiful and sunny Scottsdale, Arizona!
Hygienix™ 2019 held November 11-14 in Houston, Texas was a rewarding introduction to the nonwovens industry for The Yago Company. Attended by more than 500 industry professionals from 24 countries, it was the largest Hygienix Conference by INDA. This year's conference focused on the area of environmental sustainability for the absorbent hygiene and personal care industry. What a great start for the industry freshmen!
This year's conference kicked off with a three-hour workshop: Global Trends in Diapers, Baby Pants and Adult Underwear led by Carlos Richer, CEO of Diaper Testing International.
An industry expert, Richer and his group provided valuable insight into the fast-evolving industry, the changing demographics of end-users, consumer perception, and the current global trend toward sustainability.
Houston, it was cold!
